"This was a lovely place to spend a weekend. The room we stayed in was very ample and relaxing. The staff was superior and engaging. The continental breakfast was more than enough to get a start to the day. We did have a meal at the restaurant on the property. Food was delicious. Lots of seating options. "We had a wonderful weekend at The Nutmeg Inn! The lovely Inn welcomes you with a feeling of nostalgia and comfort. We were greeted by Karen and Kevin and felt relaxed immediately. The breakfast of Kevin's homemade sourdough bread, scones, yogurt with Karen's homemade granola, fruit and Gruyere cheese egg bites were absolutely delicious. "It was a really nice trip and would love to stay longer sometime. The room was clean and spacious. I had everything I needed if I wanted to bring in my own groceries and cook, but I was only there for a few days and chose to dine out. The mattress is firm, so if you're used to soft it may be an adjustment. Water got good and hot. Property is managed well, and grounds are very well taken care of. I will definitely stay again if I get the opportunity."
