"We stayed for two nights. The lodge is halfway between Seward and Exit Glacier. The view is amazing. The room has a small fridge but no microwave. There isn’t a way to heat anything so it’s a a challenge to not eat out. The restaurant is close but it is super expensive for breakfast and the hotel coffee shop is also pricey. Go into town for breakfast. There is limited cell service and the WiFi is spotty. Stay here for the location and the view."

"receptionist were great. smallish rooms where one person is sleeping against/hugging a wall. no amenaties such as laundry, or breakfast. maintenence may not have been addressed by june after a hard winter, or last year either. exterior door was rusted- needs painting for a couple of years, window wouldn't stay open. only one chair on porch. hot tub was foamy...yuck! hot tubs and pool are by appointments only for single room or families ...such as a dad on his phone and two kids in pool. ...

"This resort is fabulous! Maddie is a fabulous host along with her family. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and relaxing! The attached restaurant next-door has the very best crab legs I’ve ever had. The service was phenomenal too. Be sure and order the breakfast in the morning. It’s homemade and very tasty. I can’t say enough about this resort. Thank you again Maddie for memorable stay!"

"What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!"

"Breakfast booming, chef awesome, friendly staff with greeting. Dryers are a rip off. Washers great price for alaska. Lol rooms, loved they had paper and pens.. vintage, also blow dryer .. better lotion and hair products , reconnected. Makeup wash cloth , yes PLEASE. Frig, microwave, ac, worked. bathroom vent ..wellll no..tehe I so always leave a tip, I APPRECIATE EVERY ,soul who makes the magic happen, while staying in another home away from home. Every new city or state no matter...

"The person who checked us in was terrific. We had a problem with the initial room and he gave us a complimentary upgrade. We really appreciated that. The listing says they are not white glove. Let's just say this is a man hotel for fishermen and hunters. Care was not given to dusting or comfortable beds and pillows. It would be nice if they invested in new beds especially. We didn't eat at the cafe, but I did look at the menu. The prices for Alaska are pretty decent."

"Clean and nice cabin!"

"This was the worst property we have ever been at. We left immediately as it was so dirty. There was spider in a web in the bath. The coffee pot had water in it, there was no hot water, the bed had crumbs in it. There was a ton of water damage on the ceiling. No soap or shampoo. It just was disgusting. After a 5 minute walkthrough we went back to the office and attempted to cancel. This was immediate. Frankly, Expedia should take this off their site. It was unclean!"

"We love to stay at the Aspen when in town for work. Very comfortable beds and the Kitchenette is very nice. Good coffee in the morning."

"We had an awesome stay in Homer at the Pioneer Inn. The room perfectly suited our needs and Lila & Paula were amazing. Very responsive to questions and checking in to assure our stay was satisfactory. Also, I tweeked my knee, because you know, walking is hard :). They drove me to the medical center to get it checked out, and came back to pick me up afterward. They also helped me to find a knee brace in town. I would definitely stay at the Pioneer Inn when in Homer again."
