"A lovely premium room with a giant bed and views of the peace gardens. Clean, cosy and well equipped. Only two slight downsides - pillows were small and lumpy so not a comfortable sleep, and the windows didnt open; there is aircon but I like a bit of fresh air."

"We had a lovely stay. Several small touches made the stay special - milk for coffee was from a bottle, not a sachet, and came with fresh homemade cake. The room was comfy and well appointed. Breakfast (not included) was à la carte and tasty. The restaurant has won several awards."

"Staff were friendly, and the room as nice, but a couple of issues, check-in at 2 but the room wasn't ready until gone 2.30, no toilet roll was left in the room. Pillows could be a little firmer and TV reception needs to be improved. Bath lovely and breakfast was nice"

"Parking was easy though we have a electric car so the rules for paying for parking while charging are not clear and the staff wasn't sure about how it worked. Once we moved our car after charging, we were fine."

"Well presented hotel in the heart of Sheffield. Rooms were a good size & was clean to a high standard, beds were modern & extremely comfortable. En suite was a decent size & shower was powerful although the temperature settings could do with adjustments. Noisy toilet flush with after noise echoing. Breakfast was delicious with options suited to all, hot self service breakfast, cereals, juices, toast with selection of spreads & meat & cheese. Bar open late & food available at bar or room...

"Lovely hotel, with lovely clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed on a Saturday when the football was on next door, but other than the lobby being busier you wouldn’t have known. Lad at reception was friendly and the Hilton chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. Only thing to consider would be perhaps providing the option for a firmer pillow, but appreciate this is entirely personal preference. "

"Very clean, really beautiful studio. Just be aware if on rooms 11 or higher you are on the 2nd floor and staircase is a bit tricky "

"We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again."

"Hotel is a disappointment considering its reputation. The rooms were cold, old and badly lit, with poor quality mattresses where the springs could be felt, and quilts so thin our kids were sleeping in jumpers and bathrobes. "
