A well-equipped open-plan kitchen is located in the cottage and a perfect dining area where a crackling fire can gild a meal indoors. In the area around the cottage there is plenty of game so do not be surprised if you are accompanied by breakfast of deer grazing on the plot. There is a lot to discover near Tisnaren. Katrineholm is about 15 minutes away where there is everything that may be needed in the form of grocery stores and other necessities. Julita Gård, 35 minutes away, run by the Nordic Museum is well worth a visit and has something for both young and old, during the summer period Julita chamber music festival takes place where international artists perform classical music in a historical environment. Vingåkers Outlet is located about 25 minutes from Tisnarebadet and here you can buy quality clothes at outlet prices. By car you can reach Dufveholms Herrgård in about 10 minutes where their restaurant is well worth a visit where the kitchen prepares all food based on ingredients from the neighboring villages.
