Excellent stay in a lovely family run hotel

We had an amazing stay in Kalkan this past week. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and welcoming and we felt very comfortable. The location is ideal if you want to be in the middle of town and surrounded by ample cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The beach and harbour is also just 5 minutes away. We would definitely visit again and found it to be an ideal place to stay.

Kalkan gem

The pansiyon was ideally placed in the old town, perfect for the local restaurants and bars. The owners and staff where perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was fantastic, and we would have no problem staying here again if we visited Kalkan

Typical Turkish pansiyon - a little gem

Had a great 10 night stay. I know Kalkan, this being my third visit - and definitely won’t not my last. Arrived pretty late and was made immediately welcome. When shown to my room the air-con wasn’t working, but was fixed within minutes. That was so important for a comfortable stay as the Pansiyon is right in the old town - so the local bars and nightlife mean it can be a little noisy until around 2am. Recommend some ear plugs if you are are a light sleeper. The roof terrace was fabulous and I was pretty much the only person using it - which made this stay the bargain of the century. Lovely people; a good traditional Turkish breakfast if you want it - which I often didn’t but only because I had eaten so well the evening before! The room was basic but spotlessly clean; and the bed so comfortable - would give Lenny Henry a run for his Premier Inn money. Situated very close to the harbor and the rest of the old town this really is a gem. Am already planning my next visit.

Mükemmel konum, mükemmel misafirperverlik

Kalkan merkezde şehrin atmosferini yaşayabileceğimiz bir pansiyon arayışındaydık. Hem konumu, hem güleryüzlü ve misafirperver işletmecileri hem de Kalkan'ın havasını soluya soluya sokakta ettiğimiz sabah kahvaltıları bize beklediğimizden fazlasını verdi. Özellikle genç çiftler için ideal bir konaklama adresi, hem liman hem restaurantlar ve eğlence mekanları yürüyüş mesafesinde. Odalar küçük ancak yetiyor, çok temizdi. Ben normalde otellerde temizlik konusunda çok hassas yaklaşırım ancak özellikle banyo pırıl pırıl teslim edilmişti. Otel sahipleri Yeşim Hanım ve İhsan Bey gerek yardımseverlikleri, gerek nokta atışı önerileri ile seyahatimizi daha keyifli kıldılar. Daha otele gelmeden transfer konusunda bile onların yardımlarını aldık. Kesinlikle tekrar Kalkan'a gitsem buradan başka bir yerde kalmayı asla düşünmem.
