"This hotel was very convenient as I needed to stay the night in Mettupalaiyam after arriving by the toy train that early evening. It's a walkable 5-10 minute distance from the train station, with eat-in or take-out restaurants nearby, and a supermarket across the street. I would only recommend maybe requesting for an extra blanket (which may be at a cost), or bringing your own, as they only provided two flat sheets. "Simple but good facility. If you are good with “not fancy” you will be fine with this. Clean rooms, clean sheets, thoughtful - toiletries, toilet paper etc. Not your shiny Holiday Inn but quite adequate. Booked via Expedia, check in was quick. Restaurant downstairs has mixed menu - vegetarian and non-vegetarian if it matters. There is a A2B right around the corner. "
