The room was clean. Linens felt fresh and clean too. Bed was soft, which I love. Walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant with great atmosphere and great food! Breakfast was fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, juice. The usual breakfast but still more than some offer. The price of the room was the best around the area. Glad I found it.

There was trash all over the property, my room didn't get cleaned until I said something to the front desk and that was the days after I arrived. The staff basically ignored my calls to the front desk no answer. The hall room 124 i was in smelled like weed. The whole hallway was smelling like weed. The breakfast was good. That was about it.

Staff was friendly. Parking was convenient. Had several Showtime channels. The room smelt like mold, found it came from the bathroom; probably because the shower pan didn't have a rise, it all sloped and flooded the whole bathroom. The metal drain in the middle of the bathroom was missing the center with jagged edges, you could rip your foot open if not careful. The shower was missing the handle for the water; you had to grip the center piece and turn it with all your might. The shower was a hand held type, it leaked where the hose connected to the pipe. There was one pull down style curtain that had a hole, anyone could walk up and peak in your room. The light to the left side didn't work and was hanging down in pieces. Only one employee does breakfast and when they don't want to show up you don't get the breakfast you were promised, including coffee. The only thing cooked is the scrambled eggs and sausage, everything else is cereal or self-made waffles; Apparently no one on the staff know how to turn on the waffle iron or how to add coffee to the coffee machine.

Convenient and good price but kind of an old hotel-turned-updated on a budget. A bit musty smelling. It was a no smoking property yet you can smell that guests smoke cause you can smell it in the hallway. Also the window did not lock and the shade was broken so I couldn’t open them. The first room I got the air/heat/fan didn’t work but the girl at the front was super nice and helpful and moved me to another room. I could have tried another but I was tired and didn’t want to deal with it anymore. Like I said, good for price and convenience to freeway and a really good Mexican restaurant next door.

The hotel pics looked nice and clean online, rates as good. The room we were given had a hole in the wall, 2 of 3 lights did not worn, the AC did not work, was dirty and looked nothing like the pictures. I immediately asked for a refund. The desk clerk asked for phone and email, said they would contact the manager and let me know. I never heard from them again, but did get my credit card info hacked and fraudulent charges by the next morning, using my email. Booked at 154/night, in reality it is more like a 39.99/night hotel or hourly special that I would never stay at.

The hotel is within 10 minutes of the things we wanted to see and do. That is the reason for my rating. The property is old, no renovations at all. The water in the shower took forever to warm up and didn't last more than 2 minutes at the time. It smells like an old place, but they do a good job trying to keep it clean. We are thrifty travelers and didn't mind the location.
