"Staff was incredibly hospitable. They saw us arriving by taxi and immediately came outside to greet us and help with luggage. Then were taken inside to some tea and a warm towel to warm up. Extremely communicative and make you feel very comfortable. "

"Amazing stay - couldn’t recommend more. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, the hotel is set in a beautiful location and the entire experience is flawless. The food is excellent as well, although it’s worth noting that both the dinner and breakfast are very generous meals - best not to eat too much beforehand!
Thank you so much to all of the staff - we had a wonderful time with you and hope to see you again soon!"

"This place was a dream, I had a big room with a beautiful bathtub and the whole place was bliss. The staff spoke great English and were very kind. The Taiwanese breakfast was delicious. I had a massage here which was one the best I have ever had. The location is so convenient for shops, kenrokuen gardens and the the art museum. I would love to come and stay again "

"The women’s onsen was perfect! Water temp perfect, amenities in the bath were plentiful and very nice. I did see some of the ladies having trouble with the hairdryers, but mine worked fine. I enjoyed the sauna too. Not a steam sauna, but nice and hot."

"The natural hot spring baths (onsen) for both men and women were a welcome respite for our weary bodies from traveling.
We stayed in a family room with two sets of twin bunk beds. I like that the hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood. The morning breakfast buffet had a good selection of options.
I have two complaints. The auto opening front door broke during our stay and while it was fixed by maintenance workers rather quickly, it was an inconvenience as there was no way to signal to...
