Best digs in town

Best restaurant in town. Hot water is a challenge, the rooms are very compact. All of the staff try very hard and having stayed at both western friendly hotels in town I much prefer this one.

Simple, Clean, Comfortable

Simple and clean. Close to kalay airport. Room was basic but comfortable enough with double bed, tv and private bathroom asian style. Nice hot shower during winter months.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous sommes arrivés trop tôt pour le check-in mais avons quand même pu profiter de café gratuit en attendant que la chambre se libère. Très serviables pour aider à planifier nos déplacements en bus.

An oasis after several days up in the rugged Chin.

A little gem in a bustling, busy, dusty, growing city. Great location on the main street. Close to the airstrip but you'll need transportation if you have luggage.Clean newly built hotel,,hot water, private bathroom,great wi-fi,elevators,tasty food for BF,excellent responsive service, what more can a weary traveller ask after a sojourn to the rugged Chin Hills.This is where we'll stay if we are in that neck of the woods again!

Great new hotel for Kalaymyo

Rooms are small but very livable. Beds and sheets are comfortable and clean. Rooftop buffet breakfast is simple but the food is quality and the view of the mountains as you drink your coffee is superb. A/C in rooms is new and works perfectly; hotel maintains 24hr power. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel has convenient parking for cars and bikes. For Kalaymyo this hotel is excellent and considering the average pricing in Myanmar it is value for money.

New, stayable but inexperienced operator

- they insisted on keeping my passport on check in, saying that they needed "to scan" it. I offered them a copy, but they said, don't worry, we will give you back. TWO days later, I had to ask for my passport to be returned. - room too many mosquitos (I am usually not bothered about mossies, but this room had PLENTY) - the table surfaces were dusty and uncleaned through my 4-day stay. I had to clean it finally (see photo) - toilet rolls are not replaced/topped up when finished - water rationed to TWO bottles per day only, in a city for tap water is non-drinkable - there was no information whatsoever about the city not the hotel. Was not even told about timing/venue for the included breakfast, I had to ask. - Hotel WEBSITE is not really truthful: = from hotel website: "Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a terrace" - ha ha! Free WiFi only at the reception lounge, some parts of the corridor and the restaurant on 5th(top) floor. Terrace is one per floor, not in your room! = from hotel website: "A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is provided." - only about 5 channels, all of poor choice. - EXPEDIA site for this hotel states Electric kettle and slippers in room - there were none. I had to ask for the kettle
