"The hotel is really clean, and nice. The staff go to great lengths to keep the shared areas as clean as the rooms. Everybody goes out of their way to make us feel comfortable abd happy. The breakfast buffet was the okay, but compared to the other food options around the hotel, it felt a little shy in comparison. However, within walking distance around the hotel there are plenty of options from local tavernas to touristy spots."

"Das Marelen Hotel war für uns die perfekte Unterkunft auf Zakynthos. "Beautiful room, clean everyday, spacious, very comfortable bed! There is a good size fridge and coffee machine was a really nice touch. Xenia the host was incredible - waiting up for me on my arrival day even though it was very late and being on hand for just about anything - resolving any issues immediately. The hotel is perfectly located with great access to amenities, beach and the strip all in walking distance."

"Quiet but still near to everything. Owner is really nice. Beautiful view The only thing is about luggage storage which is just somewhere outside and not in a room. Wouldnt leave anything valuable."

"Marinos, Nancy and their son are the best guests you can expect in a hotel. As for the facilities, it has a nice pool and a bar next to it where they play music and serve food and cocktails. They have a vast variety of well prepared drinks and they even give you free shot. Yammas! The are really nice people, very friendly and helpful. The location is also great, a block away from the main road the most lively area of it. Awesome people and place. I would definitely come back!!"
