"We stayed at The Sweet Lake Resort for two weeks at the beginning of November 2025 and had a wonderful experience. • Location: The resort is set back from a quiet road in Arambol, so there was no street noise. Arambol beach is just a 3‑minute walk through the back gate—though note the route carefully, as signage is limited and we got lost the first time. • Rooms: Spacious, clean, and airy, with huge comfortable beds, air conditioning, and ceiling fans in both the main room and shower room. Our balcony overlooked the swimming pool, which was a lovely touch . • Dining: The restaurant menu was limited but the food was delicious. While the hotel doesn’t have a bar, The Totem next door was convenient, so this wasn’t an issue. • Staff & Service: Every member of staff—from reception to housekeeping—greeted us daily with big smiles and a friendly “Hello.” Reception staff went above and beyond to help with taxis and directions. • Amenities: Free Wi‑Fi was a blessing, especially as my UK phone didn’t function properly in India. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and sincerely hope to return in the future. "
