Cronk y Cliwe. An abandoned lookout post on top of the hill.
A noisy wilderness. This sensitive zone of sand, grass and heather has become a huge playground for motorbikes. It seems to be an official site, but I was surprised by the extent of the tracks and the enormous erosion of the area by cars and bikes.

Jurby Industrial Estate. A bleak mixture of unsympathetic housing, industrial units and windswept waste ground characterises this potentially-beautiful area.
