"We had a wonderful stay at South Thompson Inn. The customer service was excellent and truly outstanding from start to finish. A special thanks to Disney at the front desk, who went above and beyond by calling me ahead of our arrival time to inform that the restaurant would be closing at 8 PM. This thoughtful gesture allowed me to plan ahead and avoid any inconvenience. The place is very calm and serene. The property is well maintained and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. "This hotel is located right on the heart of crackville. The minute we pulled into a parking spot we were approached by two homeless people and there were more hanging around all overthr area. Find a better hotel."

"Tap in bathtub wouldn’t turn off; I wouldn’t even tough the stair railings, they were so dirty. Holes in walls, torn wallpaper. A/C unit was so loud that it shook the bed. Continental breakfast was a joke - no fruit, no yogurt- just bread for toast and 3 choices of cereal. Coffee was in the tiniest carafe, and tasted like tar. The staff, however, were lovely; easy check in, friendly staff. Easy to park, easy checkout. The staff were the only good thing about my stay, sadly."

"Should have said online the hot tub was not working, carpet was nasty dirty, doors are not solid so you can hear everything from your neighbours, for the price it was expensive. Lots of water stains on door in bathroom. Wouldn’t stay here again ."

"built in 1928 this hotel brings a lot of nostalgia with old period correct elevator and furnishings . If you're looking for average accommodations and a nostalgic glimpse into the past you will enjoy your stay . If your looking for modern amenities and furnishings look elsewhere "

"We were able to check in early, unfortunately the next day our fire alarm wouldn't stop beeping, & our fridge stoped working. Within the hour they had us moved to a different room the was exactly like the one we had. They were all very good including the maintenance staff who told the front desk that they couldn't fix the problem within a reasonable time & recommended the move for us. We were pleased with our stay."

"It said there was a fireplace in the ad... it didnt work and the staff said they dont work.. the toilet needs multiple flushes to clean out. The room noise was brutal, traffic and the water system.. the A/C was loud for $400/ night i have higher expectations. I wont be back."
