It was a clean old school place to stay ,,had a great time stayed for 2 nights the breakfast and supper was great,,coming into the property outside before you go through the gates there is a bunch of poverty through the gates it’s beautiful though so if your looking for a place to hangout out go for it

Lovely family hotel… You must visit

Lovely family hotel. Good balance of kids programs and adult activities. The view is stunning, the food is good too. Only improvement is for them to upgrade gym facility but besides that lovely. Definitely worth coming back.

Improve quality of meals and variety!

I always go to the Lodge during December. I have been doing so for the past 6 years. The cleanliness and comfort are still pleasing. Im not happy about the quality of the food though, especially the breakfast and the buffet. The food was bland with limited choices. Change the chef and bring more variety to the food, please. The standard has been going down over the years, but the price per night has been steadily going up

Amazing place

My partner and I enjoyed our stay very much. We liked our room, it was exactly as advertised, the view to the dam was amazing. Food was great, more especially breakfast. Room was super clean and staff is very friendly.

Room with a view

The location and the view from our room was absolutely outstanding. Lovely pool area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Dinner was OK but disappointing in the sense that it was rather pedestrian. Breakfast was much better. They were very accommodating of my children who loved the hotel. I would encourage the hotel to look at moving away from plastic straws. When I refused the straw the waitress looked rather puzzled.

Was dissatisfied with the breakfast and dinner. When the meals were finishing. You ask the staff to refill the meals they tell you that it is finished. It was sad.

Brilliant place for some family R&R

Pitty the are experiencing a drought in the area. Fish numbers are very low and if you catch anything consider yourself very lucky... FAR FROM A KARIBA EXPERIENCE THOUGH I MUST SAY... OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT THOUGH. 7/10 👍

The wifi was down all weekend and the condition of the bathroom could have been better; the shower in particular. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and have recommended it to a few of my friends!

Not good for older people

bedroom to reception was up 83 large steps. Air conditioning leaked onto bed and left water marks down wall. Patio door hard job to open. Poor view of lake from room owing to undergrowth. Room on 2 levels with 9 large steps between with no hand rails.
