Journet (Vienne) Lanterne des Morts (XIIe siècle). A l’origine, elle était placée dans l’ancien cimetière. Elle sera restaurée en 1884 par l'architecte Jean-Camille Formigé qui évaluera la dépense à plus de 1400 Francs (3000 à 5000 euros d'aujourd'hui) ; la commune recevra 300 Francs de subvention, le reste étant à sa charge. Déplacée en 1980, cette lanterne des morts du XIIe siècle est aujourd'hui,hui située au centre du village. L'ouverture à la base de la colonne, et les encoches pratiquées à l’intérieur permettaient d’accéder au lanternon et d’y allumer une lampe. Loved it here! We want to come back! We stayed in a tree house and it was the perfect size for our family of 5 and our cats. We loved the pool, activities, and playground.
