"Lovely and handy for the castle for an event. However at £200 a night I would expect Aircon or at least a fan in the room. There were no cups for tea in the room. Despite 34degree temps and asking twice all we were offered was a small fan. Bed was comfy but as it was unprecedentedly hot it was difficult to sleep. Not the hotels fault that it was so warm but really they should cater for paying guests. The bar snacks were very poor, calamari was inedible and for £18 I expected more that 5 falafel,...

"Located in Brayford Pool, where the old port wharf has been redeveloped like other cities (Gloucester etc) in has a car park and big multistorey next door as well.£10.40 for 24 hrs. Excellent position for relaxed dining and drinking on terraces/outdoors. Short walk to main High St shops. A significant climb up to the elevated section of the city with cafes,shops and the Cathedral and Castle. Spacious room, but a little expensive. Excellent air conditioning on hottest day of year . "Our stay was very good. It was in the middle of the steep hill. So, was a minute walk from Lincoln castle. Around the hotel was lovely boutique shops and cafes. The a Hotel had a coffee shop that served lovely food. We would definitely return to Rest hotel. 😍"

"Although the Hotel looks a little tired and in need of some updating, our room was fine. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The Lincoln relies heavily on it's position at the top of the town and behind the Cathedral. It was also very useful to be able to park at the back with no worries."

"Initially we were not impressed with this property. No reception, just a voice at the end of a phone. We never got a "check-in" email, which should have come prior to arrival. We eventually managed to get in the building after 40 minutes. That was the only negative as or room was great, very spacious with clean towels, kettle and fridge, filled with what we needed for breakfast the following morning, which we used in the lovely kitchen the day after. I would recommend this property. ...

"Charming B&B excellent accommodation great spot easy walk into Woodhallspa. Breakfast was superb. Staff and owners could not be more helpful. Plenty of parking, nice areas to sit and relax in and out of rooms. Immaculately clean. Good spot from which to walk cycle and tour. Quiet but not remote. In room refreshments aplenty and generous bathroom consumables including towels. Room airy, air con perfect given heatwave we encountered, shower big powerful and very nice. Bed huge and super comfy....
