"The room was clean. Beds are very high for 5’2” people. If you’re taller than that you’ll be fine. We were not greeted by staff- both times we attempted to check in. I called the day before about checking in early - they told me “sure 12:30 is fine.”When we got there at 12:30 the staff told me there was a $40 charge for early check in. They should have told me that when I called. We did not check in early - we left and came back after our scheduled event. The stairwells are hidden. Otherwise our stay was fine."

"We were very happy with our stay. The view was beautiful overlooking the lake. The room was nice and clean, perfect for our stay. Friendly staff. We don’t have to ask for anything which was great. Would have preferred a better coffee pot than what was available. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience. Would stay again!"

"Place had a Million Dollar renovation and they actually did a good Job for a Rodeway Inn. There are No Amenities at all, no pool, no breakfast, no bar no nothing! Just front desk guy and housekeeping every 3rd day! Homeless and panhandles in parking lot, across the street and by back dumpster. Don’t go out to smoke they will approach u! New McDonalds next door and 2 cool bars up the hill, walkable but be cautious local homeless lives on Main Street bench don’t make eye contact."

"Hotels well worth the price and made for an excellent stay. The hotel is located within a few miles of the Baseball Hall of Fame and is centrally located near the best restaurants in Cooperstown. The hotel exterior is being painted, so our hotel room window was covered on the outside, but it certainly did not make the room any less comfortable. We did use the pool and gym which is adequate for an overnight stay, but both are small and crowded when anyone else is in there. Again, not a deal breaker by any means. The continental breakfast is great and the fresh coffee was excellent! The staff members at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, making it a pleasant experience. I would gladly stay here again when I travel to Cooperstown."
