"So free parking at a downtown adjacent property is already a win. The hotel is immaculately clean. It's an old property and I don't know what the architects were on when they were concocting it, but they make it work. Highly recommended though"

"At check in I had already paid for the room online & identified that I had pets. This is the first time I've been charged more money and given no receipt? The king suite has the sink & bathroom at the door when you walk in. The king bed was comfortable. And there was a microwave & refrigerator available as well. Now the fire alarm was beeping all night in need of a battery and it had my dog on edge all night. It was never fix while I was there. The breakfast was lacking. All the juice machines are out of order. 1 coffee pot. The tiniest muffins. They did offer biscuits and link sausages with gravy on the side. And of course waffles. However no yogurt or fruit. I turned my key in looking to receive my receipt for the room and check out. (Since that is what I was instructed by the previous night desk clerk) Not 1 person could be found at 8am at the front desk or the dining area. So where the room was fine,"

"Everything was good except it would’ve been nice to have a reading chair in there and I think they may have had one at one time because there was a lamp in the corner and an ottoman."

"The staff were pretty friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Unfortunately we had neighbors who were smoking next to us during our stay so as soon as we left our room, we got a strong whiff of it every time we left. Room was missing towels and phone cord was cut so we had to physically go down to ask the staff for towels. Parking was plentiful and not too bad. Overall, not bad I suppose for the price."

"The breakfast menu looked great however we were there on a weekend when the time for breakfast was at 7 and we were in a volleyball tournament and had to be at the tournament at 7. Parking was great. The room was always clean. We enjoyed our stay! "

"Nice, clean hotel. My room AC didn't work for most of my stay. I was literally pouring sweat at one point and constantly taking a shower. The awesome woman at the front desk able to go up to my room and fix whatever issue it was and controlled it with the computer at her desk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but I'd have to make sure my AC was working first. Everything else was great."

"The bathroom counter is low for me and im only 5'5. Unfortunately I left 3 pairs of earrings in the room. Two were expensive and one was just beads. I was in town again 3 days later so i stopped by to ask if they had them and they said no."

"This was the least accommodating, least welcoming hotel manager I've ever experienced. Never has a hotel manager made me cry and required that I ask them to please alter their tone when speaking to me. The way in which he spoke to me in front of my children will stay with me forever. It takes a lot to make me uncomfortable, I've been to hundreds of hotels and never before have I been made to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed in any establishment. The manager of this hotel made me so uncomfortable that I stopped attending breakfast or exiting through the front door whenever he was on duty. In addition to the hostile and dismissive communication from the manager that made me feel unsafe, there was also his unclear communication with his staff to convey his messages when he wasn't on duty. I was told that room service came every other day, then I was told it comes daily when the manager requests it. There was no clarity in communication. I was staying here while renovating a house before moving in, it was the closest location and the manager behaved as though receiving packages was a personal offense. The manager had an issue with the boxes arriving and being stored in the bedroom till they were necessary on the job site. Upon checking out I asked the staff to alert me to any packages that did not arrive before checkout and I was told that at the managers request all packages would be returned to sender. I've now read other reviews that mention prejudice, might be it."
