Good location, clean and has easy access to highway, close to shopping centres with a good variety of shops, could do with more lighting during loadshedding.

nice apartment hotel but inconsistent with heating, asking for help and queries. the heating is a bit weird, and there aren't always kitchen items like pots/pans, depending on the apartment. same goes for washing/drying machines depending on the apartment. very nice, modern apartment though with parking and close to a lot of restaurants.

Avergrage Business hotel

Great hotel in Befordview!
The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. However, the heating system didn't seem to be working very well. The hotel is closeby lots of restaurants and shops, which makes the location very convenient. Unfortunately, guests have to pay extra for in-room wifi.

Everything you need is close by, the gym is great, the restaurant serves great food reasonably priced. There are also plenty of nice restaurant within walkin distance. The staff are great and very helpful.

Great place to stay
The Nicol is a great place to stay. Very good gym, good breakfast, helpful staff. Get an apartment as it's worth the extra expense.

Not a place to stay
Not really a place to stay. Old furnitures and the room cleaning could have been better. Everywhere hair on the floor which were not mine. At least i tried a new place. Breakfast is nothing i recommend they wanted that i nedd tonpay the water as this is not invluded in the breakfast..

The location/access from airport was good. the staff all very pleasant but the room unfortunately was a bit cramped - plenty cupboard space but the sleeping area could be better.corridor room and roman blind not working so a battle to get natural ventilation. I was there on business with other people and some complained of very noicey room(facing a main road) no spare toilet roll in the room and no tissues either. Tv screen not clear and remote not working. intercom to the reception also not working

Great service and location
The first room I was given did not meet my expectations, but the staff and management were great, and I was moved as soon as another room became available- they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. Will definitely use this centrally located hotel again.

Overall, it's fine. The beds are too soft and the air conditioner keeps turning itself off randomly, making for uncomfortable sleeping conditions. It also needs better blackout drapes, as you are up with the sunrise. The complimentary breakfast is good, with good services. It should offer free WiFi in the rooms. The staff was friendly and provided good service.

The staff and hotel are nice. The rooms were not lit well, and please note wifi is only free in the lobby area. The rooms were not dirty per say, but could have been a little cleaner (some mildew in the shower, etc).

Disappointed ....
Not happy. Checkin was at the coffee shop and the key was not programmed, had to come down again to get the key programmed. The crockery was all odd and many of the coffee cups were cracked and chipped. The curtain in the main bedroom was hanging off one of the middle hooks and so the light came in through the night. Breakfast was not good value at all, R60 for the smallest breakfast I have ever had and served in Polystyrene boxes....... it is room service not take out!!!! Not a single dish towel of washing liquid in the kitchen.

Very good accommodation; friendly, courteous staff
The Nicol was perfect for our needs. We wanted to stay in Bedfordview because it was close to family and convenient to the airport. And since we are a family with three children we needed something spacious and easy. We had a one-bedroom apartment with an adjoining studio, which worked out very well. The king-size bed in the one-bedroom apartment was very, very comfortable. The double bed in the studio was less so. We appreciated the free WiFi in the pleasant lobby, and the staff and management were all very friendly and accommodating to our specific requests. The outdoor pool area looked very nice though we did not have time to use it. There are shops within close walking distance.

Nice apartment if stocked and cleaned
Booked a luxury family self catering apartment. The rooms were spacious and kitchen appliances etc good. However we booked and paid for 4 people and there were only 2 x glasses and plates only 3 and coffee and tea only for two people. Once we returned to our suite and noticed this there were no one at reception to assist so we had to drive and buy paper plates etc at convenience store nearby. Housekeeping was also not great as apartment especially kitchen and bathrooms were not as clean as one would expect. Breakfast was very good.
