"Excellent location on the Quayside. Parking adjacent to the entrance £18 for 24 hours. Clean and tidy, breakfast was ok too. Definitely return , nothing not like."

"Room 29 is a small double. Clean room but bathroom was dirty with mould. Shower curtain from a Psycho movie. Definitely the worst Best Western Hotel ever. Carpet on stairs and hall lights filthy and covered in dust. The positives are friendly staff and Jesmond is a nice area. Best Western you need to invest in your hotel. Premier Inn and Travelodge in Newcastle are showing you how in can be done."

"Very clean, quiet were in 415...good towels..shower gel / hand wash in dispensers...wardrobe big with spare pillows..no drawers as such..hospitality tray very basic, 2 bottles of water on arrival... Breakfast was good, buffet style...juices, tea, coffee etc..all good..easy checkout on line if it works..mine didn't.. left case so we could do a bit more shopping...staff nice..get well soon Scotty..."

"We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly Our room was very nice and clean. The shower over the bath could do with upgrading The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there was plenty of staff to accommodate the demand. I would definitely recommend and stay again"

"A very enjoyable stay in a boutique hotel, where the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were all different, with each offering individual benefits. We were slightly concerned that the restaurant was not open on our first night, but we were able to get food from other areas, so not a problem overall."

"I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The setting is really nice, offering a calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was particularly impressive, with an excellent selection across both the continental and cooked options, all of which tasted great. While certain aspects of the room showed minor signs of age, it was very clean and well maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, this is a charming hotel with attentive service and high‑quality dining."

"This is a lovely little hotel in a perfect spot to visit Newcastle. The staff were all lovely and were keen to make my stay as good as possible. My room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift (which I knew but still overpacked!) so perhaps don't take one big suitcase like I did! The hotel is well maintained but is not "modern". It has everything you could want except if you stay at the height of a heatwave, there is no AC (i was given a fan which suited me but just a note). The bedroom doors are heavy and slam as people go in and out, which made me jump every time my neighbours went in or out. Also my room faced the road so as i had to have the windows open, I could hear every word from every person visiting the local shop over the road as well as the traffic. Just something to be aware of if you need silence! The free WiFi was a decent speed and the parking spots are a godsend in this part of Jesmond. The room was spotless and the breakfasts were delicious. I'd definitely recommend staying here as access to everything is close by via the Metro or by foot, and you'll get a fantastic Geordie welcome."
