"Room wa clean and spacious but there"

"We have stayed here before and wanted to come back. We booked a classic King and got the opportunity to bid for an upgrade to the Executive suite and got it. When we arrived, there were no Executive suites ready and they put us in a Signature suite instead at no extra cost. The staff here are so friendly and go above and beyond and made our stay so enjoyable. Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary."

"Very handy for the stadium and student parents staying over. Only stayed one night for a nearby wedding so didn't really use any of the facilities. We moved rooms as club across the road is so noisy, it can be heard in the front rooms. Second room was a big upgrade and very quiet. Staff were very helpful in this respect. Avoided breakfast at £19.00 each and walked to the Greggs instead. Parked at the Temple car park which was very reasonable but not ideal if you are unable to walk too far or have lots of bags."

"Room 29 is a small double. Clean room but bathroom was dirty with mould. Shower curtain from a Psycho movie. Definitely the worst Best Western Hotel ever. Carpet on stairs and hall lights filthy and covered in dust. The positives are friendly staff and Jesmond is a nice area. Best Western you need to invest in your hotel. Premier Inn and Travelodge in Newcastle are showing you how in can be done."

"Very clean, quiet were in 415...good towels..shower gel / hand wash in dispensers...wardrobe big with spare pillows..no drawers as such..hospitality tray very basic, 2 bottles of water on arrival... Breakfast was good, buffet style...juices, tea, coffee etc..all good..easy checkout on line if it works..mine didn't.. left case so we could do a bit more shopping...staff nice..get well soon Scotty..."

"We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly Our room was very nice and clean. The shower over the bath could do with upgrading The grounds are beautiful and although it was very busy with two weddings and and abundance of golfers there was plenty of staff to accommodate the demand. I would definitely recommend and stay again"

"A very enjoyable stay in a boutique hotel, where the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were all different, with each offering individual benefits. We were slightly concerned that the restaurant was not open on our first night, but we were able to get food from other areas, so not a problem overall."
