The reviews for this hotel are very accurate in a good and bad way. Our experience here for 4 nights was fine. Would I have appreciated a higher rated hotel? Of course! But we were on a budget and the location for this place was incredible! Unbeatable in Jersey, the NYC skyline seen from your room!? Fantastic! Thats why I booked it even after reading the reviews about it being outdated and kinda dirty. Yes, we did switch rooms when we got our first one because there were hand prints on the bedframes from people doing you know what in the beds. There was a gross poop looking stain on the wall and the beds looked frumpy. The front desk was very quick to get us another room and we even got to check in early! The staff were friendly and took our request seriously. Overall, would not stay there again but we got what we paid for and it was in a nice, quiet part of town with great coffee shops and restaurants near by and the subway is next door!

Great location with fantastic views and cozy rooms. One issue I had was that they will not provide a reasonable solution if you have a car. Valet rushed me to check in giving me 15 minutes of free parking and warned me that I will be charged for 3 hours if I take too long. If you have a car, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and was in an excellent location for walking, dining out and taking the path train. I am giving it only 4 stars because the bed and pillows were awful, but that is my only complaint. I will definitely visit again.

Wonderful staff. Views are amazing. Slightly outdated room/furniture. Kids loved the pool - even though the water was a bit cold. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view as far as location making it easy to travel to and from NYC and breakfast was great! My only concern was parking. The website lists parking as $26/night but when we arrived the parking that was for $26/night required you to leave your car parked during your entire stay. Parking ended up being $52/night which was valet services and allowed us to come and go as we pleased and $160 was collected from me right upfront and I ran into several issues with prepaying for my parking for 3 nights in advance and was constantly asked to pay each time I needed valet services. The carpet, base boards of the beds, and couch was not very clean. Also there was a marathon even that took place while my family and I stayed on the property and all the streets were blocked off for hours and we were not informed in advance to prepared. We have a religious assembly to attend for worship in Jornal Square which was only a few miles and we ended up being 3hrs late and I was highly disappointed.

Over all it was ok. Here are what I didn’t like: - uncomfortable pillows - very slow service when you call - horrible valet service. They park your car very far. It is not available right away. You have to call an hour before you need it. Also there was a marathon and they didn’t tell me before I chose their service that cars can’t get out. So we stuck in the hotel from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm waiting for our cars after checking out

Wonderful location for Jersey City and to explore Manhattan. Housekeeping was so thoughtful. She asked us if we needed anything when we passed her in the hallway. We just requested more coffee and setups, which she didn’t have. When we returned later, she had left some hanging on our door knob.

perfect hotel to visit NY City. Only one stop away by Path train. Beautiful skyline from the hotel. Not much to see around the hotel. Via their site quit expensive, we booked the hotel via expedia!

Great location super convenient one stop to the World Trade Center mall. We used the valet parking service and they were amazing! I would highly recommend for the location, parking and quiet stay away from the city. The only CON is the outdated state of the rooms - our tub was always full of dirt and debris from a clogged drain..the toilet makes really loud noises..the rooms definitely need an upgrade!

On arrival the room was not clean, especially the carpet. The bathroom on the other hand was clean. I asked for it to be cleaned again and the ladies were very kind.

Stayed for 6 days total. Pool unfortunately was closed the first 2 days. Room service was spotty, didn't get condiments for coffee in room 4 out of 6 days. Overall was good along with our view of NYC.

Excellent location on hudson river. One minute walk to Path subway. Clearly we can see Statue Of Liberty through our room wide window. We didn’t tried the buffet as it seems to be expensive. Our room intercom wasn’t working from day 1 and didn’t work even after maintenance guy repaired.House keeping is a minor issue as we complained at reception for solving it.

Absolutely perfect location for wanting to visit NYC, but not stay right in NYC. The Path train is literally right outside the hotel to get you over to the Occulus which then has pretty much every option to grab a subway from there depending on where you want to go. The hotel is very clean and the views from our room were awesome! Room was spacious as well! We had a couch and a roll away bed and still had space in the room! When I go back to NYC, I will definitely stay here again.

Fourmis dans la chambre! réservé pour 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants) mais mais seulement divan pour les coucher. La piscine s'est brisée durant le sejour donc sans cet élément qui avait motivé notre choix, on aurait choiso un autre hotel!choix

Manager and security at night were not nice They kicked us out of the lobby at midnight because the lobby was supposedly closed… I have never heard of an hotel lobby that closes at night … especially for an international brand like Hyatt. I am pretty sure that no written policy exist that employees is allowed to close the hotel lobby…. Especially in NYC ?!! We were just, quietly and enjoying the view and we were treated aggressively like we were homeless. We stayed there 4 days … everything else was ok but we did not appreciated being treated unprofessionally and we are sure that the hotel management would like to know this and make adjustments to their operations.

All of your comments will be dealt with at a management level and relayed back to the hotel team.
