"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "
"Tommy and Nicole are lovely people and they provide a beautiful respite for escaping the hustle bustle of life. Nicole is an excellent chef and we had the best breakfast I remember having made fresh every morning. Jefferson is a gem of a town and the Benefield is a truly remarkable historical property restored to perfection!

"Everyone of the staff here I’ve had interaction with have been amazing. The housekeeping staff in particular made my vacation so nice. Only complaint was the guy just outside the front gate that called me a racist since I didn’t want to buy what he was selling. I will always come here"
"For the price I figured it wouldn’t be worth staying at. But all I needed was a place to sleep for work. It looked like all of the tenants were there for work. Large parking spaces, everything worked in the motel room, updated recently, and very nice people. Couldn’t beat the price and location was perfect."
