This was my second stay at Tru in South Mandarin, where my family gathered to celebrate my son’s birthday. We reserved six rooms and found the property and accommodations to be exceptionally clean, complemented by a helpful staff. While we believe the breakfast offering could be enhanced, we were collectively satisfied with the stay and the convenient location.

The pool could have been better, but it worked for what we needed. The entire building was clean and smelled great. No issues during the stay. Front desk was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. Breakfast was mid but was included, so can’t complain, and the coffee was perfect in the lobby.

Had a great stay at Tru by Hilton Jacksonville South Mandarin. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They’re also pet friendly with an $85 pet fee, and service animals stay free of charge, which is great for travelers who need accommodations for their animals. I enjoyed the amenities, including the gym, pool, pool table, and complimentary breakfast. The common areas were inviting, and everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, a great experience with plenty of amenities. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Jacksonville! ⭐️

Front desk was helpful and checked us in quickly. Parking was hard to find because a bunch of the spots were marked off and there was a bunch of construction vehicles, boats, and trailers in the lot. Rooms were and clean and the hotel is in a good area.

I love that breakfast doesn't end until 10 am and that checkout is not until noon, these two things alone make a world of a difference when your travel needs are a bit different from the standard. The room was very clean, nice shower with plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Electric sockets where we needed them (often overlooked in other hotels) and hooks for hanging backbacks, clothes, etc. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options. Tea and coffee available all day in the lobby. My teens loved the fussball tables, comfy chairs in the lobby, and the pool was great with plenty of towels available. Gym looked great too but we didn't use it this time. Seriously impressed by this hotel.
