The property is a little outdated. But it was pretty clean. The place definitely needs more entertainment I stayed on a Saturday night. There was no entertainment. They had a DJ THE night before. But nothing on a Saturday night. (The room) this was a solo trip, but I did get a double bed because it was cheaper. The mattress was very thin. One of the beds was very uncomfortable. I slept in the other bed. There’s no safe in the room. But the room was clean and comfortable other than the bed I managed with the opposite bed. (The restaurant) there is only one restaurant I ordered the rigatoni with the grilled chicken and I added shrimp. The grilled chicken was extremely dry. The shrimp was pretty good. The wine was OK. The service in the restaurant was OK. They really need to add more restaurants. The best part about my stay is that I did not lose any money. I actually wanted $250 so I walked out with the money that I came on my budget and I earned $250 which was very nice. I might try it again after they remodel the place which I heard they are about to do period. This was my third day.

Definitely ran down. Hotel rooms are dark & dirty, staff wasn’t the nicest. Very sketchy clientele, felt very unsafe in the casino and common areas. Hoping once they build the new casino it’s nicer and has a cleaner, safer vibe. Very disappointed in this stay/visit.

Property is a little dated, looking forward to the improvements they are making to the hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I wasn't lucky at the casino LOL but it was fun and exciting environment. They should offer amenities for the hotel guests maybe separate entrance and parking. It was a little annoying to enter through regular entrance and show ID each time we entered back into the hotel.

I know the property is under renovation and its going to be even better than it is now. I cant wait for the renovations to be completed because what we really love is how close to home the hotel is for those last minute quick getaways.

We had fun at Jake’s 58, celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The casino was what I expected based on photos. Our dinner in the on-site restaurant was good. Drinks in the casino were a little pricey. The room was basic & clean. Could use a bathroom update soon but we were fine.

Great experience except room was cold. Maintenance did respond quickly and initially fixed the problem. It was indicated that we could be moved to another room. However, it was almost 1 am and we were checking out in a few hours. So we opted to stay where we were. The system stopped working again. Suggest this problem needs to be fixed.

Not your typical casino hotel.
The bad… no ice machines, no drinks served in casino, the Bistro was supposed to be open till 3 am but it closed at 12 on a Saturday night. There was no entertainment. Room was decent and clean. Bed was comfy. Would not come back here and stay tho. I’ll stay with Mohegan Sun or Atlantic City.

From the time that I arrived in valet and customer service for reservations was top notch I enjoyed my stay at Jakes 58 Celebrating my birthday the bistro 58 my lunch and my dinner Service was excellent looking forward to the next stay
