"Absolutely lovely stay at Sugar Bay. I wouldn’t consider it a high end hotel, but for the money I think it more than delivers. Everything felt very clean, staff were friendly, and food was better than many all inclusive. It is on the smaller side, which has pros and cons. Realistically, it is one pool you can swim in. "Beautiful hotel. Our room was right by the pool. Very nice. Staff was not helpful at all. They couldn’t check us in when we arrived because WiFi was down. Staff gave no instructions on anything. They handed us a paper with meal times. No assistance with anything. We had never traveled to Barbados and thought perhaps the check in staff would help us navigate to some excursions. They also weren’t friendly. Never smiled. Just a smile back would have been something and made us feel more comfortable....

"Hilton Barbados was a clean and standard hotel. It does need some upgrades however it was clean and had amenities such as gym, pool, bar and restaurants. The staff were very nice and helpful."

"The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent."

If you ask, you can get a beachfront room with direct walk up access to one of the pools, or a direct walk up to a garden.
