"Room was modern and spotless with all facilities required for stay and there is currently work being carried out to entrance to hotel which will look really nice and almost completed.Bar area was fine but glasses weren't very clean and ice machine had broken down but prices were ok for a hotel.Only let down was breakfast which we were looking forward too.Breakfast is made to order with you picking what you want at reception.Our breakfast arrived swimming on top of beans and wasn't very warm so...

"A beautiful B & B run by Karen in a tiny hamlet near Keswick. The room was delightful with comfortable bed and furnishings that matched the age and style of the building perfectly. Lovely view from the window over Karen's wonderful garden with, at the time I stayed, a hen with 8 tiny chicks. Parking was easy and the breakfasts filling and delicious. A wonderful stay in the Lake District."
