"The hotel was perfectly located for our roadtrip. We didn't have to drive into Isle of Skye when we arrived to the area late in the evening. The staff was welcoming and helpful with our late arrival as well. The room was extraordinary. It had a beautiful water view. The vibe at the hotel was quaint and homey. Everything was well maintained and extremely clean. We would stay again."

"Wir haben 2 Nächte nicht geschlafen weil das Bett viel zu schmal war; es ist nicht mal ein Queen Bett sondern viel schmaler. Reserviert haben wir ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten oder ein Doppelbett aber wir haben auch mit anderen Touristen gesprochen und alle haben derselbe Problem gehabt. Für so ein teures Zimmer erwartet man mindestens einen richtiges Bett. Frühstück ist einseitig und ohne Auswahl; Abendessen ist OK aber nur OK. "We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. We were probably going to miss dinner one night but the staff said they’d put in an order for us at 8:15 pm so we could roll in with a reserved seat and eat before they closed. Nice! "The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup."

"This is a great hotel and would stay there again. Only complaint is pictures on expedia do not match the assigned room. Example, we booked a room with a clawfoot bathtub that also had more windows. The front desk staff acknowledged the pictures do not match the rooms. Overall, great property."

Walls are thin and could hear neighbors’ phone alarms and opening/closing room doors all morning. Unable to sleep after 5am. Dinner in the restaurant was fully booked by a large group when checking in. Would not stay here again."
