"Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and pleasant. There was however, no tea or coffee making facility in our room. However as we were there for the Oktoberfest, that wasn't really important. The hotel is approximately 1 km and a 15 to 20 minutes from Moosfeld U-Bahn station and initially with the aid of google maps we found our way. I would recommend the use of an electric scooter for the journey there and back. But do not have too many beers before doing this! "

"Weird, cooky neighborhood. Close to metro which was nice, but otherwise way out there. Feels more hostel than hotel. Rooms spacious enough and clean. "

"The room was spacious and clean for the price. The hotel is next to a bus stop, with 2 buses that take you to U-Bahn, S-Bahn. Nearby shops and bakeries are cute. Nice stay! "

"I came for Oktoberfest and wanted a nicer option than the downtown Munich hotels would offer. It was a nice suburb close to the train with dining options, recreation, and a very nice staff. I made poor attempts at speaking German during my stay but they were very patient and accommodating. I rented a car, which I easily parked in an adjacent lot. While it lacks a permanently staffed from desk, I didn’t mind as I arrived during normal business hours. "

"This hotel is an absolute jewel. The attention to detail is second to none! I have travelled to Munich many times and have stayed all over the city. The location of this property, while on a quiet street, is excellent! It is a small, boutique property that really feels more like home than a stay at a typical luxury hotel. "The location is amazing: a few minutes walk from Marienplatz (and so many other key points) yet on such a quiet street."

"Staff were fantastic. Room was clean. Our suite was well appointed. The location between Isartor and Marienplatz was so close to everything. It was perfect for visits to Munich's many Christmas Markets. Even when busy staff go out of their way to help. Linda and Baset in particular were wonderfully engaging. The courtyard garden and in house cafe all enhanced the experience."

"We booked an apartment on the 12th floor. It was on the corner and the views of Munich were fantastic. The washer/dryer set-up was most welcome. The building is newer and the amenities were great, especially the walk-in shower. The building is just a few minute walk from the East Munich train station. "

"Our stay at the Charles Hotel in Munich was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had! We were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast in the Florio restaurant—really enjoyed the pretzels on offer in the buffet spread! Each member of the staff we encountered made sure that we were well taken care of as well, and they were all super friendly. Highly recommend this property for any stay in Munich!"

"A good value for money. Around 20 minutes drive from Munich International airport. Shops and bus stops are just next door. We arrived a bit early (2pm) and allowed to check-in as our room was ready. Overall, it was a great base for few days whilst visiting Munich. "
