The location is very close to Interlaken Ost station with a nice view of the mountain. The staff are very nice and helpful. There is the noise of the train until midnight but is’s not too hard for us to get sleep.

No value for money
Eigentlich bewerte ich bisher mit einem Schuss Wohlwollen, das Youth Hostel Interlaken lässt dies nicht zu. Das check-in war unproblematisch und freundlich. Gebucht war Zimmer mit Balkon. Wir öffneten die Tür und waren sofort durch die spärliche Möblierung „beeindruckt“: Einfaches Doppelbett, ein kleiner Tisch, 2 Nachttische- das war’s! Kein Fernsehn(zu verkraften) und nichts, was zum verweilen einladen könnte. Der Balkon war eigentlich schön, nur mit Löchern versehen über die man/frau durchaus stolpern kann. Die Wände des Zimmers könnten auch ein wenig Farbe vertragen. Der Blick aus dem Bett nach oben führt auf eine unverputzte Betondecke. Es gibt keine Regulierung der Heizung, immerhin wurde uns auf Anfrage eine Zweit-Decke gegeben. Das Frühstücksbuffet einfach und mit geringer Auswahl. Es darf natürlich bemerkt werden, dass es sich um ein „Youth Hostel“ handelt, aber das für über 2..€ pro Nacht? Der Preis steht absolut in keinem Verhältnis zum Gebotenen! Es tut mir Leid, aber zu diesem Preis ist keine andere Bewertung möglich. Zum Schluss: „die Gäste werden gebeten, ihre Bettwäsche vor Abreise abzuziehen und in die bereitgestellte Box am Fahrstuhl zu stellen“…

O hostel fica praticamente do lado da estação interlaken ost, do lado de uma loja grande da coop (mercado), proximo de alguns restaurantes. As instalações sao excelentes se considerarmos que trata-se de um hostel!! Só o locker do quarto que achei pequeno. A vista do hostel para o lago é linda, e o cafe da manhã é excelente, completissimo!

The hostel is a really great stay and has the best location. It’s right next to the Interlaken Ost Bahnhof. The restaurant has a great selection of food. I would highly recommend this stay

I was met with a delightful twist – a heartwarming experience complemented by a team of super welcoming and friendly folks. Those lockers in the room? A sweet bonus for security, ensuring your valuables are snug while you saunter through the enchanting streets of Interlaken. Dreaming of plush red carpets, sparkling chandeliers, and a butler at your beck and call? Time for a reality check on hostels! But if it's a fuss-free, solid base you seek as you embark on your day's adventure, this spot's a total gem! If you would prefer that Butler. The Chalet Margaux Penthouse might offer one at CHF 3677.

Hostel was ok (not great not terrible) as it could use some updates such as the beds and linens. Plugs by beds don’t work well as they hang upside down. It would be helpful to have a toilet/ sink within the shower rooms. Room was very warm at night especially on the top bunk. Breakfast was fairly good and location is good. Staff were friendly.

Excellent service, cleanliness, space and quality of room as good as it gets. One minor complaint; the pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable. Another minor complaint; it was hot outside, the rooms do not have ac, which is fine, I know the hostel is environmentally conscious which is one reason why we stayed there, but I think the rooms should have a fan to move air in the room. It was uncomfortable all night. The night before Interlaken we stayed in Lucern with no ac, even hotter at night but the fan in the room made all the difference. The breakfast is great, we had dinner there twice with excellent food quality at good prices, especially for Switzerland!

I just liked the location of the hostel because facilities are reachable within a five to ten minutes walk. Furthermore, I appreciated a lot breakfast. There is a rich variety of meals and in overall it was nicely arranged. Maybe one drawback is that I didn't book directly via the official hostel webpage and I didn't know how to avoid mixed rooms. It would be great if you could clarify this point in the booking process. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

방이 넓고 청결해요. 역이 가까워서 이동하기 편리해요. 콥이 도보 3분거리에 있어서 편리해요. 강을 바라보는 방은 경치도 좋아요. 유스호스텔 특징상 많은 여행객들이 오는데 시끄러울수있어요. 이건 운인거 같아요.

Family holiday
Stayed for a night on Aug 22,2023 to end our 10-Day fam hols before heading home. Booked on a Qaud Room with 2 bunk beds, shared T&B, with free breakfast. Centrally located just beside the main train station. The room is just warm on summer days thus we left the window opened through-out the night to get fresh air. Has to pay extra for the towel at €3/each, lines are provided. Warm reception - a bonus.

가격대비 나쁘지 않았던 곳
체크인 하는데 예약내역 못찾아 너무너무 오래 걸려 답답했어요. 생각보다 깔끔하고 괜찮아요. 조식은 뭐.. 그냥 간단 화장실 있는 더블룸 예약 했는데 1박에 수건 2장 제공됐어요. 공용으로 사용하는 전자렌지랑 전기포트 있어요.

대부분의 젊은 직원들이 너무 불친절했습니다. 스위스 처음 방문했는데 너무 기분이 좋지 않아 다시 오고싶지 않을 정도 였습니다.
