"We stayed a couple of week days and were allocated a lovely room in the annex. Bed was really comfortable and room was well decorated. Lovely quiet location. Food in the restaurant was excellent too. I recommend the hanging seafood kebab. We attended a family event in the on-site function room and this was well catered. One couple decided to stay the night even though they lived locally as there were already a number of us staying there for the family event. The last remaining room was a family...

"Always have a nice quiet stay here. Check-in is online and easy, and entrance and room codes are included in your welcome email. You have the proprietor's mobile number should you need to speak to someone. I would say that cleaning needs to be more meticulous, and maintenance and upkeep of the facilities (roll holders, bathroom shelves etc) has to be more regular..."

"We stayed in a room at the rear of the property. It is clean, but very dated bathroom, decor, upholstery and carpet. Really needs a complete renovation. It was a very hot evening and a ceiling fan would be useful because there is not a lot of room in the accommodation for a free standing fan. The sun is on the room all day. Food excellent and staff very courteous."

"Quirky with some lovely staff in the evening in the restaurant. The gardens are also beautiful but small things could really enhance the hotel to get more from its potential. My stay improved after a few small disappointments. The room was warm and quiet. The meal on the second night was excellent (first night's green curry with poppadoms was less so and lacking in flavour)."

"Room clean . Comfortable bed complimentary water . Biscuits and good selection of teas and coffee even hot chocolate. Staff amazing couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast amazing good parking plenty of spaces. The only downside for not very tall people the bath was quite high to get in to have a shower. Overall a lovely place to stay"

"A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing....
