"We only stayed there for a night after seeing a play and I have to say it has exceeded our expectation greatly. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. And while it situated only a stone throw from Shakespeare's birthplace, it is very quiet. The in-the-room breakfast for a small fee is a very nice touch and we will definitely stay there again if we're in town. "

"The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was a plus, with a microwave, small fridge, teapot, sink, dishes and silverware, enabling us to fix our own breakfast. The dressing table with a mirror and light made putting my makeup on much easier!"

"Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property. "

"What a beautiful place to stay, old school service, fabulous gardens. Huge gorgeous room, lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in. Some feedback not a complaint - spa needs a jacuzzi esp outside to take in the views and changing rooms need to be regularly cleaned of excess water"

"A beautiful hotel in a great location... perfect for all the attractions Stratford has to offer. Yes there is a £7.00 charge for the parking but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Hotel and room very clean and the bed was very comfy... great night sleep had. Breakfast was perfect too. A lovely hotel."

"The Rose & Crown in Warwick was delightful! My room faced the market square, and there was wonderful activity throughout the morning and daytime. I could hear the church bells chiming. Walking everywhere was easy. The nights were peaceful. My bathroom and shower were American-friendly. There didn't appear to be air conditioning in my room, which was not needed during my stay, because the evenings were cool. Just be aware of that if there is a preference for air conditioning.
