"We just got back from the most amazing, relaxing week. The cave was so special with lots of room and a fabulous pool. We were really looked after by the staff and the breakfasts were so generous. Elizabeth was a great host who helped us organise everything we needed to have exactly the holiday we wanted. We didn’t want to leave. We would advise hiring a car to make sure you see all the island has to offer but this is such a well located base to explore from. We would definitely return! "

"It's a nice country style unit. It's a little remote from Fira, and definitely need a car to get around, or just grab taxi service. It's on the bus route that can take you to Oia. Just have to walk to the public bus stop just north of the roadside market. There's plenty of hot water, but the cold water comes and goes, could be the pressure. You can make an order for breakfast for the next morning, which is nice."

"Our 5 night stay at The Avaton was wonderful! The staff did everything they could to make it as amazing as possible for us from the moment we arrived. We had an upgraded room and excellent service throughout our stay. They organised restaurant bookings for us and the couples massage was the best treatment we have ever had! Convenient location for strolling into Fira of an evening, when it was cooler. Every was perfect! Thank you so so much 😊"
