I am not sure if the words 'deep spot' or 'floodplain' are enough to define it in english or not. So let me try to :) Floodplains are rarely seen ecosystems. It seems like a forest is flooded, but it's not! It's the normal form of the forest and all trees are adapted to live with water. "My daughter and I stayed at Balkaya Çiftliği for three nights. We had originally booked two, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. The location is peaceful, surrounded by lovely hills, and the breakfasts are a real highlight with fresh local flavours. Coffee and tea are also available, which was a nice touch. One thing to mention: I was told I could extend the third night at the same rate as my original booking, but the final bill reflected the higher standard price. It might have been a simple oversight, though it was a little disappointing."
