"It’s pricey, but in my opinion, it’s one of the best, if not the best, hotel in Halifax. Right on the waterfront boardwalk, numerous dining options within easy walking distance. "
"Great location! Close to everything. Friendly staff. Lovely room! Our only complaint was that the pool was incredibly hot—too hot to swim in. Otherwise a perfect stay!"
"Great downtown location for our first east coast Halifax trip. Check in was easy and quick. Our junior suite was roomy enough for 3 people. The complimentary breakfast was very good, nice touch having the fresh fruit.
The construction on the street was noisy but luckily we were booked on the other side facing the harbour."
"comfortable bed, quiet, spacious room, walkable to shopping and restaurants, various live bands, busy waterfront due to August long weekend holiday, enjoyed wine and chicuterie board sunset sail"
"Hotel is in a good location but needs a renovation. The rooms are dated. Door latch kept sticking and would take multiple attempts to open. Roof top patio is covered in bird poop. A fire alarm went off one night and the night staff was not helpful. He didn’t keep his composure or communicate with guests."
"No hotel airport transportation to/from airport. Not able to access filtered water from dining room to fill water bottle after 7 o'clock as dining room blocked off by staff. "
"It was a quick overnight stop.. I thought I was within walking distance of the downtown area, but we had to take a Uber... it was very quiet but no elevator and we had to carry everything up 2 flights of stairs.. the room was very clean and comfortable. "
