This was an amazing visit in downtown Hurley, near the Montreal River. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and pleasantly laid out. We enjoyed our stay.

Small no frills motel

A small no frills motel. Check in was wonderful and Todd was very friendly and full of information. The motel is located on the main street of Hurley within walking distance of several restaurants and pubs. I was worried about street noise but it was fairly quiet. No hair dryer in the bathroom but the room was clean and great for a one night stay. Todd made biscuits and gravy for breakfast and they were wonderful.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

This place is terrible. The parking lot is full of litter and cigarette butts. The rooms were dirty with cob webs all over the place. The pictures posted are so old the place looks nothing like how they actually look. There is no outlet in the bathroom. I thought the ceiling fan was going to come down and hit one of us, it shook so bad. There was also some shady busines dealings going on as well. Management was friendly when we first arrived. When i dropped the keys off, i said good bye and he grunted back at me. There was nothing they could of done to make the stay better. All near by hotle/motels were either booked our the prices were raised due to it being near the 4th of july holiday. Very unsatisfied customer

My double room was not ready when i arrived at 9:30pm. Manager gave me a single room that was ready with no credit. Bath window wouldn't close, sink was clogged, and no hangers on the coat rack. Towels, sheets, and pillows were clean as was the bath and remote did work on tv.

Sad times at Silver Street

We know not to have much for expectations when we stay at the Silver Street Motel. We have been staying there for years. It’s right on the trails and within walking distance of good drinks and food. It’s why we have chosen to stay there time and again. This last visit however, may be our last. Our group reserved 6 rooms. From no toilet paper, towels, blankets, or garbage cans to duct taped toilet seats, dirty towels left behind and garbage, we weren’t sure who’s room was worse. Again, we go in with little expectation but this was beyond. Management was rude and I’ll prepared. Most of us made our reservations months in advance so it’s not like we were a last minute stay. It’s sad. Seeing how little care was given to what could be a gold mine, broke my heart. We have had many great memories from our annual Hurley trips but I think this may be the last at the Silver Street Motel. Please do better.
