Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so...

"Our stay was amazing. The accommodation is very beautiful, calm and peaceful. Everything was very clean and in perfect conditions. The accommodation is directly located next to a small lake and we saw some monkeys and peacocks.
The breakfast and dinner was great and the best food we had during our entire stay in Sri Lanka. It was very fresh, homemade and adjusted to our taste and dietary needs.
The host was very lovely, provided recommendations for activities, helped us planning our further...

All staff here and at the sister hotel a short walk away were amazing, with a special mention to Rosin and Nedmina (sorry I couldn’t quite remember your full name!) We loved being able to swim in the sea just outside and walking along the beach. A great, comfortable base for exploring the South Coast. Lovely food too-eating on the beach was a real treat!"
