Disliked: Room comfort, communication
Do not stay here! I had to leave and seek other accomodations!
Smoke detector going off every 15 minutes, I reported it and was told I should have reported it in the day time and I would have to wait. I was ignored when I reminded them that a faulty smoke detector in a communal block is an emergency repair!
I was then ignored until around 6pm the next day, where I was told it was fixed. But I had already left the property as it had not been fixed literally minutes earlier when I went to get my belongings, already packed as I could tell the disinterest in the situation.
I was unable to sleep and my health seriously deteriorated! I had booked the place to get some rest bite!
That was the final straw and thankfully travellodge a short walk away provided last minute decent comfort and safety!
Other issues I could have accepted but we're poor, bannister not connected properly so couldn't use it to get up stairs that were like tree house ladders, really off smell that I did get used to but noticed every time I returned to the property, bathroom radiator shoved in wall not screwed on, no batteries in the tv remote, no hot water in bathroom other than a weak electric shower I couldn't get to an optimal temperature and was forever altering it, paint peeling and falling onto bed from the ceiling.
Some cutlery was dirty in drawers.
Dead rotting bird outside the door, a bad omen I should have noticed!
they should do the right thing and give me some money back!
