"Wonderful stay right where we needed it. The staff were all so friendly and the room a great size and stocked with what you need. Parking is mainly residential but there are numerous car parks around. Great food in the pub also!"

The reception staff were friendly and very helpful however the staff in the restaurant were not as helpful I asked for skimmed milk and the server said the milk on the table is skimmed, I asked her if she was sure and she said yes - when I pushed further (as you can tell by looking at the colour) she said they don’t do skimmed milk - this felt lazy. "Convenient accommodation and parking to attend the opera at Glyndebourne. Room comfortable, but difficult to open the windows, and there appeared to be damp in the bathroom floor below the cistern. Good selection for the help-yourself buffet breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking easily accessible, but very crowded on arrival at 2pm on a Friday afternoon."

"The room was small. Only small semi-circular shelves either side of the bed. Not bedside tables. We only had one bath towel and one bath sheet between us. There were no complimentary toiletries. Tea, coffee and milk and fresh mugs not replaced during our 3 night stay. There were no curtains and a blind that did not keep out the light. "We were walking on the south downs way,and the hotel was in prime position,,very reasonably priced and the food was delicious The staff were very helpful and pleasant,,,we had a good nights sleep Well done to all staff members 👍"

"The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite."
