"Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely full cooked options and lots of fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and pastries etc .. The room and ensuite bathroom was simple but very pleasant and the bed comfortable. "Overall, it was good. However, the spa was anything but. Rather than relaxing, the pool was noisier than an Irish bar on St Patrick's day. With treatments, as they were not very good at all."

My daughter lives in St Neots again now and I needed a place to stay overnight. Having used Premier Inns generally, if the price was right, I decided to book, but was astounded to find they wanted £150 for a Tuesday night! I had noticed the extention on the Eaton Oak many times, and managed to get a room at a very reasonable price of £84...

"The corridors smell of dirty carpets and our rooms aircon was not working. They didn't offer any compensation or change of rooms, just brought a fan. Otherwise just an average business hotel."

"The staff are great at this hotel. Rooms are large, water is hot and fast, lots of parking, and the location is fab for the town, river and park."

"Our arrival was admittedly very late - 2.30am. TV in our room did not work at all. The 24 hr Receptionist could not communicate so unable to help about the TV. Breakfast was self service Toast/Strawberry Jam and Cereals. Staff hardly any spoke English.We had to leave very early so no experience of whether the Bar was open or not. Very poor quality hotel so will not ever stay there again."

"Check in was quick and efficient. Being able to park for no additional charge was great. Great location for all the main parts of Peterborough. Room was exceptionally silent the whole day and night. A few doors in the morning but that's to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Nets at the window and black out curtains. Very much an upgrade on the usual Travelodge I normally stay at due to cleanliness and staff. Room was spacious enough"

"Disappointing breakfast . No eggs ! so settled for bacon sandwich Bathroom didn't have a razor point so unable to charge electric toothbrush. Asked reception if they had a plug adapter but they didn't"

"I stayed here with my son. Room was really hot and therefore very uncomfortable. Fan supplied was very poor. We couldn't find the bar and couldn't gain access to the vending machines in the other building. Spent a sleepless night with no drinks. Couldn't voice our issues in morning as no one in reception."

"I paid extra for an airconditioned room however AC was not working. One of the beds was missing, there was a mattress on the floor which very dusty and not cleaned for a long time. Wallls were stained. Windows were locked, not possible to open. it was the worst experience of a hotel. I do not recomend to anyone. I also would like a refund for this terrible service."
