We arrived a little late and they were great about it and hung around until we arrived. We weren’t real late but they showed great customer service. The breakfast bar was really good as well. "Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch.
And you can't find a better location to the popular attractions. Bus line 840 and 843 is a quick 10-minute trip from the Berchtesgaden train station. And the boat ride and Jennerbahn are 1 and 2 bus stops respectively.

"Everything was more than perfect. The host made us feel at home. All is very adaptable for people with reduced mobility. The showers especially were very well adapted for seniors. The breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were spotless. If we needed anything more the host was always able to provide. "Very nice ,clean, comfortable apartment-hotel the outskirt of Salzburg. But location is quite convenient as there is a bus coming every 20 minutes .
