The hotel was nice and clean with a great view of the lake. What was most surprising was that they had a nice bar and grille. We were able to relax and not have to go out and about for a meal which we really appreciated. The food was delicious and the service beyond excellent!

The bathroom had black stuff coming out of the hand rail in the shower. The stopper was laid out. The AC unit was leaking on the floor. The bathroom fan and a weird blue light in it. Our room number was wrote in pencil on the wall. Walking by other rooms and they had plates with room numbers. Requested a lake view. Did not get one, told that they were full. The parking lot only had 15 cars max. No buses or anything. Breakfast was very bland and not appealing.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but for the price we paid and the unclean bathtub and broken down furniture and rustled lamps on the room and water on floor we don’t know where it was coming from was enough to make a decision we would not ever go back.

Our stay at the Baymont in Hot Springs was extremely disappointing. The room we originally booked was nothing like what was advertised. We ended up being moved five different times because of repeated issues including dirty rooms, water leaks, missing or unusable amenities, and rooms that were not in acceptable condition. The refrigerator was one of the things we specifically needed, and multiple rooms did not have a working one. We also encountered cleanliness issues, and even after finally finding a room that was manageable enough to sleep in, there were still problems like a shower curtain rod hanging loose and not allowing the curtain to properly close. The pool, which was advertised as an amenity, was green and not usable during our stay. Overall, the hotel did not provide the experience or basic standards that were promised. This was not a case of simply changing our minds or wanting to leave early — we spent our trip dealing with room changes and trying to find a clean, functional place to stay. The staff did attempt to move us between rooms, but the condition of the property itself was the main issue. We would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

This property has so much potential, stayed a couple of years ago and it was great. I wanted a top floor balcony room with a lake view. I made a mistake when reserving the room and got a first floor pool view room instead. I was told there were no other rooms available but was assured as soon as one was available we would be moved. We stayed for a week, never notified of a different room. The pool was dirty, it was never cleaned and the pump and filters were either not working or never turned on. One morning they did throw chemicals in it, most went on the pavement around the pool. There were bugs in our room including several roaches. Needless to say, next time we go to Hot Springs we will not stay at the Baymont.

We stayed there for one night. It was a beautiful lake view and we stayed in a room with a balcony. The actual room was not the cleanest. The lamp shades had mold on them and the actual lamps were rusted. The walls had stains and looked like it was repainted in areas but definitely didn’t match. The baseboard in the room was beyond dirty. For one night it was fine but not sure if I would have stayed another night if we were planning on it.

Check in was easy — we got up to the room and the first thing I noticed was the curtains halfway hanging off the hooks. We dropped our bags and left, came back late and immediately got ready for bed. The next morning we realized the bedsheet were dirty and the comforter had dirt all over it. At breakfast, there were so many fruit flies around the bananas and they were brown — this was at 6:30am, only 30 minutes after the start of breakfast. The whole establishment has an awful smell to it but it’s the worst in the elevator. Book somewhere else if you have the chance!

Had kids next door banging on my room door all night long playing. We caught them doin it and went reported it and all staff did was call and ask and they say it was the people next door which was an elderly couple. They did it all night long until the parents in the next rm came out and I gave them a piece of my mind and warned them if it was done again that the ending results wasn’t gone be nice. We had to leave for a while to let things settle down and them kids go to bed because they were out of control! Parents that give kids separate rooms need to attend them like they would at home. Staff didn’t come up to the floor or nothing to see what was going on or nothing. I complained everytime they did it, and nothing happened!!!

Walked in lobby was clean. Only 1 staff member was helpful in 3 days. Had to put in maintenance requests as soon as I got into my room. Which were never completed. I was told he needs to order parts. All of which I priced were available at Lowe’s. His response was we don’t actually fix things just order new ones to save time…. It cost more and takes longer if a job is a 5 min job to order than just do it. I bet they won’t do the repairs at all. My floors were sticky like they just sprayed Lysol all over it. The fridge leaked water, had to put a towel under it. No repaired either.

The lobby and open areas were clean and pretty. However, the room was dirty. The sink was clogged; one bed was dirty and stained; the floors were not cleaned. The walls and trim had nicks and needed to be repaired and painted. We had no housekeeping so rather than changing rooms they brought us clean sheets so we could remake the beds. The breakfast was ok. The check out was extremely easy and efficient.

The view was awesome. It was quiet & beds comfy... However, the rooms had an unpleasant odor. We asked to switch rooms & the second room didn't smell as bad. I was disappointed in breakfast. When we arrived we were put in a room that was not a balcony nor was it a lake view the room was so filthy that walking from the bathroom to the bed it looked.like the floor was made of dirt i had to go myself and buy some cleaning supplies to clean the bathtub out the was mold on ever surface in the bathroom the bedding was so dirty it stuck like someone had sweated on it and never used deodorant we stayed one night but was. Charged for two I will never stay at a Wyndham property ever again it was a rip off and the guy at the desk said he would talk to his boss about it and nothing ever came of it so I am very very disappointed with the Wyndham hotel service and shape of the room thanks for wrecking our short vacation

A coat of paint doesn't fix the mold problem, you could see the condensation lines where they had ran down the wall at some point with mold around the baseboards of the room in a couple spots, the bathtub wasnt cleaned and still had a heavy grime ring around it, the shower head was also covered in mold. Other then that the property is really nice. Also the intense smell of chlorine and purple fabulouso in the lobby was enough to take your breath away

The hotel was clean and the lobby freshly refurbished. The room was clean and I liked there was no carpet in the room. Other than some spots/stains on the coverlet and sheets everything was nice. Management took care of the sheet/coverlet problem. The towels were clean and nice. The air worked well. The refrigerator worked well. We enjoyed the balcony with the lake view. The pool didn’t seem to be pristine, but we did enjoy it after I skimmed it with the skimmer there on property. The jets didn’t seem to be circulating the water well. The pool is small and only about 4 foot deep though markers indicate 5. But I liked that. Overall it is a nice hotel and I would stay again. Great location. Request a lake view. The staff were nice and accommodating. The breakfast was your typical hot breakfast but not bad.

So, we were very excited about staying on the lake. We didn’t request a lake view room and didn’t get one. No big deal. Check in was so basic that we were only give keys and room number. No directives to the elevator, breakfast time/area, pool, nothing. We found our room and it was incredibly musty. Like literally damp. All our paperwork curled and softened. The soaps we had softened. The refrigerator froze all of our items. No way to adjust temp. Our microwave made a ticking sound constantly so we had to unplug. The phone didn’t work. The bath tub needed to be refinished and the shower curtain would not stay, it kept sliding to the middle. Since our phone didn’t work, we guessed on breakfast. Slim pickings…. Clearly they do not replenish during the breakfast hours. Literally, you snooze you lose. BUT, the location was fantastic! Close to restaurants, shopping, and a straight shot into downtown. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bath towels were very nice. Will I stay there again, no. Will I recommend it, no.
