"The hotel was fine, my only feed back is to do a better job actually cleaning the rooms. There was a lot of spider webs everywhere in the room."

"The location is great! Nice and quiet along the highway. Slept soundly. The bedding and provided linens were clean. I will say the cleanliness was very poor though. The units smelled like mould and urine. There was black hair left over from a previous occupant all over. No thorough cleaning. The microwave was filthy with sticky sauce all over it. Overall, a very rundown unit. Would not return, but was grateful for a decent bed to sleep on."

"The smell of the room (I've stayed in 2 different rooms here while in town for work) will knock you over when you first walk in (if you're normally a clean person) - it smells like someone's been hiding a year's worth of work socks and underwear under a mattress. The rooms are "generally clean" but I had a look around with my handy dandy UV light in the dark and, yeah, no. The views are underwhelming but we were there to sleep and work - although we did get to enjoy a view into the trailer park...

"Arrived at the 4pm check in time… carpets and floors very stained and dirty. Staff stated would try to find another room. Got our room at 8:39pm after dinner with friends. Floors clean but ac did not work. Provided with a fan. Toilet leaked and mold ingrained in sink. Very outdated facility. Looks like nothing much has changed since it was built in the 80s. The manager was very apologetic and stated would do something because of our poor stay. Gave us a 10% discount to the restaurant if we were...

"We liked the location of this hotel. It was close to the beach, fun park, and food options. The staff was helpful and was also so nice to let us into the breakfast area a couple minutes early. We would stay here again."

"We arrived later in the evening and were greeted by a friendly front desk host who provided helpful information about the hotel amenities and recommended the best place to park based on the location of our room. The lobby was clean, welcoming and nicely renovated, creating a great first impression. Our room was on the second floor, which wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting there is no elevator, so it could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. The room...

"The Riding fool was perfect for our little family! Comfy beds, very clean facilities, great smelling towels and soaps in the washrooms, excellent common room with games and pool table, great place to meet people…and a place to store and fix our bikes to to it off! Common kitchen area with everything. And in central Cumberland where we could walk to everything. We will definitely be back! But for longer:) Thank you so much!!"

"Outdoor hot tub"

"I enjoyed my stay. While the place was clean and the beds were super comfy…it was old and outdated and in desperate need of upgrades…but everything worked. The price definitely reflects in the aesthetics. The AC was awesome on a hot day and they are dog friendly. The TVs are upgraded to flat screens and have hdmi ports. The kitchen was basic. We didn’t use it but it was a full kitchen with coffeemaker and microwave."
