He called in to the staff and checked us into a room. Everything went so smoothly and it could have been last minute looking for a different motel. "

"This is an old Holiday Inn that the new owners came and made all modern and fancy, including adding a couple of our calories downstairs. Ample parking, although it was full towards the end of the night. Safe location. They did a really good job revitalizing in this place. "

"This is a lovely Inn that is as charming as its setting. An unexpected pleasure was the delicious food. I loved that you pick your breakfast time and food choice the day before. My only regret was not staying long enough to have each of the breakfast offerings. An added delight was dinner at the Inn. Definitely a 5 star experience. We ate there two nights - each meal choice was superb. Service matched the taste. An overall delightful experience, well worth the cost. I'm still dreaming about...

"Great stay at The Spring again and happy its open! The old school pool is great with a real deep end, the rooms are cute, kitschy and comfortable and the proximity to our fave bfast spot and good hikes is great. The outdoor space is good for hanging out to read, socialize or watch the birds. We dig it here and qlcome the character of the place!! "

"South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) We would absolutely stay here again. "
