"The room itself was very nice, and the host was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived, it felt as though the property was closed, which was a little strange. Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure. Had we been staying longer, I’m confident the host would have tried to resolve this. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress would benefit from an upgrade or the addition of a topper. "Easy to get to, tasty food. Evening staff both fab, morning person not as much. Bedroom and bathroom lovely size and biscuits/tea generous. Slept well, though the radiators were rather hot and I didn’t know how to turn them down. Evening food delicious but morning breakfast could have been better; toast came out cold.
