Honolua Bay is your reward stop after driving the rugged mountainous nearly one-lane road along Maui's Northern-most tip of the island. While here, be sure to visit the Coconut Caboose mobile truck, serving all-natural shaved ice made from frozen raw coconut water, hand-cracked by the owner and founder himself. They also serve delicious organic, vegan gelato all using coconut as the base instead of milk. When traveling to Maui visiting Honolua Bay is a must! It is a wonderful place to go snorkeling; you can see sea turtles, coral, parrotfish, goat fish, ta’ape, octopus, unicorn fish, urchins, and much more! Also high rocky cliffs surround it, which shelters it from the wind and keeps the water calm. There really is no other beach quite like it! #LifeAtExpedia
