"No smoking room that definitely smelled of smoke. Bedspread had a burn hole. Burn marks on the tub and furniture. Pillows well worn out and terrible. No chairs other than the table side chairs. Furniture was in poor condition. Mattress was terrible. Tub had dark stains. Shower curtain had a large dirty stain on it. Back of the building was not well maintained."

"Pricey for what it was but clean. We just stopped overnight on the way through. Typically, would pay 150 but this was 219. It is brand new."

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This Surf Club offers some useful extra amenities, there is an ice machine and water cooler near the pool. The water cooler was especially helpful since the tap water is not very tasty. There is also a bathroom and shower near the pool which came in handy when our grandkids were swimming. We stay a lot in Dewey this is the only hotel that offered beach/pool towels. Only negative is no balcony everything...

"We absolutly loved everything about our stay! Adorable boutique hotel so pretty and clean everyone was so nice. We loved the free breakfast buffet at the hotel every morning, the very convenient shuttle service to the beach which was only a few minutes away and the free wine with cheese and crackers every night at 6. The pool was always quiet and relaxing to be around. Overall 10/10 we would definitely come back and stay here again"

Breakfast was as expected - many choices from toast and cereal to premade eggs and sandwiches. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with suggestions for entertaining my young grandson. I would stay here again."

"Loved the location in a quiet residential area away from the crowds. Definitely the most pet friendly place we have stayed without having to give up the luxuries you often do for a pet friendly stay. The dogs are even pampered with bowls, towels and treats! Perfect area to walk them along the canal across the street from the inn. Within walking distance to the main street and great restaurants. Definitely will be returning now that we have found this gem!"

"The check in was fast and easy. The lady at the desk was very friendly and they had us in the room early. The room was clean and very nice. I would suggest bringing your own pillows if you are picky. The breakfast was good with lots of options. I usually stay on the boardwalk but this was a great location close to Rehoboth and Lewes and A LOT cheaper. We will definitely stay here again. Also, we found JD Shucker’s to eat close by that had a great Prime Rib night on Tuesdays for $32.00 complete...

"Good location Room needed a table and 2 chairs at least to eat at and needed a living room chair or small sofa to watch TV Lobby coffee machine was broken until last day of our stay"

"The staff here is AMAZING! I will start with that. But I have stayed in nicer/cleaner hotels. Not the hotels fault but our room always smelled like weed because I guess people around us were smoking. The rooms were also a little outdated and the furniture was a bit tore up. But great location! Just not sure I would stay here again for the value or recommend to friends/family"
