"We stayed here for our anniversary, its a very impressive building, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, large bed, great big soft pillows, air con nice and cold. Only issue was the water pressure of the shower, if you wanted anything other than a cold shower the water pressure dropped so you were basically hugging the wall to get under the water. We did let the staff know this upon checkout. We had drinks out on the terrace overlooking the golf course which was lovely...

"Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!"

"The location is great as it is very central to the town. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Very clean room which had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely cooked breakfast, too. "

"Two criticisms of the bathroom. The soap and shampoo bottles were unreachable when I was having a bath. Far too high, only useful for a shower or at the basin. Also the non slip patches in the bath were very uncomfortable to sit on. Did the designer of the bath ever try to take a bath??"

"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . Draw stuck out the side of bed . It would not close . I kept catching my leg on it . The headboard was dirty . The stairs was very steep. Not the best hotel. won't stay again . Meals was awful . "We got upgraded to a studio apartment as needed a ground floor for disability. Bar man was very helpful and showed us the key codes etc. very appreciative for upgrading. Thank you Wolf Inn for a great night stay . "
