The room had a bad smell of staleness or sweaty bodies. Needs a thorough clean including bed,carpets & skirting boards. Probably will not stay again.

Great for an over-nighter

Very smooth check-in at the pub. Room was a short walk away, with plenty of parking just outside the walled area. Room was just right as a single traveller - double bed, tea making facilities, en-suite bathroom and tv. Great process for check out which means you don't need to return to the pub before leaving.

One night stay

We stayed at Stable Court for one night it was very comfortable and clean we had breakfast at the Biuebell it was really good very tasty we would recommend staying here we will definately be returning

I wouldn’t bother

We couldn’t find the place as they had no/poor signage. Asked for directions in the local pub. When I eventually found it there was no sign of the reception. I tried the only door bell to be met by a rude gentleman, to be told I was in the right place but wrong door. He then spent ten minutes on the phone telling someone off. He then showed us to a room across the garden and gave us a door code, all while on the phone complaining at the other person. The room was tiny and cold with no facilities that were advertised (tea, coffee, WiFi, etc.)

Took my money, and didn't let me in!

For the love of god, don't book with this place. I couldn't even get in to it! There's no reception, and no staff on site. They emailed me a code to enter into my room's combination lock. The code didn't work. I called their "24 hour support" number several times; nobody picked up, and my voicemail was ignored. I tried emailed them, and got no reply. I waited around in the cold and the dark for about half an hour, and nobody got back to me, so I had to find accommodation elsewhere. So far, the only contact I've had from them was a text message they sent about 1 hour 20 minutes after I first called, saying "new door code is *this*". I replied saying "bit late for that - I want a refund". Thats the last thing I've heard from them. I've asked Hotels.com to try and get me a refund, and apparently the hotel isn't even answering the phone to them.

Weekend Break

We were booked to stay at this hotel from the 19th to 23rd October. We were advised that it was a keyless property and we would be sent an access code. This never arrived. On the first day we were supposed to arrive we still didn't have the code. Two operators from Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel but could not get hold of anyone. We therefore lost the first night of our break. The following day Two other members of Expedia tried again to get in touch with the hotel. Again they couldn't get hold of anyone. Hats off to Expedia. They found a lovely hotel in the area we wanted to stay. They booked us in and paid the difference on the room rates. They could not have done more or been more helpful. The service from the hotel itself was non existent!!!

Unhabitable first impression we can't stay here room was a cow shed with a bed stone floor dirty disgusting place not fit for anything to live their car park was full of wine bottles beer cans druggie needles

Basic - NO frills option.

Very basic. No frills. Nobody on site to help with any questions. Access is via a pin code to room. There is a charge for the car park. Park in the street. Handy for north coast and Blakeney.

Not the Wine Lodge

First was it was hard to find as I booked the Wine Lodge -actually my accommodation was the Barn in Stable Court Shower was a cold trickle and could not get TV to work -no one to ask on site and no answer to the nos given on a board outside -some one did come while I was out in response to a text and sorted TV and shower improved but ran from cold to stinging hot and cold again. Floor very slippery and a mat by the door not secured and on leaving a day early because of the shower I slipped and banged my head on the wall giving bruising

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money this is not what you think we dint even stay in the end as dirty , damp, cold curtains falling down ect ect. Complaind to company they really we're not bothered and even told we don't state we supply curtains and therefore will not get a refund. I have read a lot of bad review since .

Lovely barn clean and very spacious.

Received the self check in code night before arrival. Completely hassle free. Lovely place lovely surroundings. Would definitely recommend

Aweful

The accommodation was difficult to find as the name Wine Lodge did not appear anywhere on site. The room code was given on arrival by email. As I have no email access while traveling I had to make great efforts the day before to get hold of it by mobile. You have to pay for parking, again by email, which if you don't know in advance and have no email would have been difficult to do. The room was damp, the bathroom inadequate and the shower terrible. I appeared to be the only person on site, which as a woman solo made me feel unsafe. Emails were responded to quickly, but no personal touch. I will not be using this hotel chain again.

Awful service

Ignore the emergency number your given as no one answers. Room was dirty, shower didn't work and wasn't warm, and bins weren't emptied. Stay away from this place!!

No hot water for the shower. Horrible smell of damp when arrived and shower curtain was broke. I know the price was cheap but in modern times there should be hot water. Also our room no3 the front door which is suppose to be a fire door had a big gap at one side. So how it passed an inspection I don't know

DISGUSTING

Always read the reviews before you stay anywhere! We didn't stay. We went in to see the room. The room smelt like an urinal. The pillows and bedding were stained. The towels, well they were grey, threadbare and had stains too. We just couldn't stay it was so awful. We had to find alternative accommodation. We paid for parking beforehand as well, however we could have parked outside the complex, the car park was full of litter.

WARNING: Wrong address and map

The address we were given was wrong. We followed it to the exact point on the map but it did not take us to the hotel. If you follow the address you will end up at someone's house and be very embarrassed. We wondered around in the dark for 40 minutes with no mobile reception. Get there in the daylight. We eventually found it by driving around and seeing a sign for MJB. (The sign only faces one direction, so we only saw it driving back). The actual address is on Holt Road, around the corner (to the left I think) from the address given.

Basic acomadation

Simple overnight accomadation.No internet.No life in the village.you hav to go to HOLT for the nearest pub the only down side the shower did not work and no assistance on site you phone if you hav problems.I payed £29 per night.
