"It would have been nice to know the elevator was out of order, prior to booking, but we managed. The king size bed was comfortable. The place is old, which is charming, but the room didn't feel clean enough. Was an okay stay. I slept well, which was the point."

"We stayed just one night while visiting family in the area. For that purpose it was very well-suited. It was clean, comfortable, updated (or newly constructed), and had friendly staff and a good (free) breakfast in the morning. The only thing I didn't like is that they CHARGE FOR PARKING?! I've been to other properties of this brand and NEVER had to pay for parking. It was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to say the least. At the time we were there it was $10 for one night. So keep that in mind as a consideration, especially if you're staying multiple days."

"The room was clean enough and updated with paint and marble in the bath. Bed was ok. Floors are newer tile. Everything else was very dated. The shower curtain was smelly and we didn’t even want to use the shower. It’s also located on a very busy road across from a hospital. Traffic noise and emergency vehicle noise kept me up most of the night. I think I got 3 hours of sleep max. Stay at your own risk."

"Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Nothing around but 18 minutes to St.Cloud has restaurants. They don't have hair dryer in case you need it, bring it."

"This has been a terrible experience with Lakeside in receiving no calls (other than leaving messages on their voicemail) and no contact (no return calls) other than when we arrived the second time to the location to check in after 3pm there was a man on the property who told us we needed to leave that it was closed and we were trespassing. We said we had paperwork that we paid to stay there and he said he didn’t know anything he was the contractor and he was going to call the police. We were scared and left. We did see on one of Lakesides sites that they opened at 3pm which was why we left the first time, came back, thinking it was a mom and pops place and maybe a local came and opened it up for everyone after 3pm. But again, when we came back after 3 (per their website) which was closer to 4:30pm when the man ran us off the property. We decided to stay at another hotel instead as we had no where to stay after this incident. This location needs to be taken every site offered. Seems they are collecting money and have it set up as if they are in business (with no return contact on their end) or something recently happened to the business major (closing) that hasn’t been communicated to the sites hosting them."
