"The food was excellent. The swimming pool and its facilities were excellent. Service was friendly. Good value for our 3 night stay. Very pleasant rooms, both bedroom and general hotel rooms. Only one point for improvement- the shower in room 29 needs upgrading."

"Really nice hotel set in beautiful grounds. Very comfortable and good sized room. All the staff I encountered during my stay were helpful and friendly. Food was lovely as well. All in all a very nice few days. Booked in again for my next business trip to Derby. Would definitely recommend to others."

"This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District."

"We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied.
